There is a lot of blm that you can camp on plenty close. I think you can pull off 100’ legally and camp anywhere.

i hunted there for 4 days and never saw a bear. only seen 2 piles of scatted that was from the road. none in 30mi hiked on closed roads

It’s all about putting more money in guides pockets. They already have wilderness tied up and now they want every nonresident to be forced to use there services if they want to hunt the state more than 2 times in there lifetime
The American prairie foundation is buying up ranches in the cmr area to do just this. Offering up huge sums to buy them out so they can’t complain
