Just so you know Bransen, I made decisions based on your data, which turned out to be wrong. The numbers should never be wrong. And it's really not OK to say "sorry about that" after people have already submitted apps.
I think the most important thing we can do is just try being quiet for once. Stop posting everything you do all over social media. Stop recording everyday you go hunting. Stop glorifying Western hunting. Stop exploiting wildlife for profits (GoHunt, MeatEater, Newberg, etc, etc)...You say we are "losing millions of hunters..."? Great! Let's lose a few more million, especially all the social media posers. Yeah, I meant "posers". Bunch of clowns out there embarrassing themselves every time they go outside. How about we all act like we've been there before? How about we stop giving anti-hunters all the ammo in the world to use against us? How about we just quietly enjoy what we love, and keep it to ourselves. Bunch of amateur hours out there anymore, everyone wants to be a hunting "influencer". Clowns.
I have mixed feelings about GoHunt as it is...I think it's possible hunters were better off without the shortcuts created by GoHunt. If you were too lazy to figure out the application, then don't go. You don't deserve it. And we were definitely better off before all the Randy Newbergs, YouTubers, social media hunters, and TV shows that glorified Western hunting. Now it's all going to hell...and sorry, GoHunt, you are making Western hunting WORSE OFF. But yeah, good for you. Exploiting wildlife/hunting for profits. My "moral compass" is just fine. Perhaps look at your own.
Agree 100%. The problem with "crowding" relates to the rifle season. These proposed changes would likely make that even worse...definitely NOT any better, that's for sure.
