I was getting blisters year after year in my well worn in hunting boots. Nothing I did kept my heels from getting destroyed. Until I found Engo Blister prevention patches. They stick on the inside of your boots wherever you're getting hot spots. They are super slick and keep your socks from sticking to the boot liners which in turn keep your heels from being rubbed up and down on your socks like a cheese grater. Haven't gotten a blister since.
