Great writing! Today I struggle with a state initiative that claims to support Conservation efforts with tax revenue - Montana’s recreational marijuana push. As a long time federal biologist it’s hard for me to swallow this type of Conservation effort and I shake my head at the Conservation organizations that do not take a position. Call me out of tune as I know many see no harm. Again, great story, but I certainly worry about the methods we’re willing to accept in order to fund future Conservation.
