goHUNT INSIGHTS - The Geoff Rowley Story

Geoff Rowley is a pro skateboarder who recently became a hunter and a devoted conservationist. This is his story on how hunting became a huge part of his life.

Watch & Win

From the moment we started chatting with Geoff Rowley, we knew his dedication to quality and craftsmanship in every field he enters is second to none. That's why we were excited when we had the opportunity to create a limited edition custom knife collaboration between Civilware and goHUNT. This knife is a friction folder and the extra tang is used to keep it open while you hold it in your hand. The materials to make the knife are composed of both G10, titanium and heat-treated 416 stainless steel is used in all of the hardware. The blade is 2.5" long and is made out of AEB-L for great corrosion resistance, edge retention and ease of sharpening. All of the materials and parts are sourced or made in the United States.

To celebrate Geoff and Civilware's quality knife design, we will be giving away 20 limited edition custom Civilware 'goHUNT' knives to people who check out the video. (Retail value: $2,500)

Geoffs skating has been a huge influence to me. His flip sorry part was the first skate part I ever watched. Remains till this day my favorite skater. I'm also a bow hunter and it's pretty awesome that he can have a positive influence on me through hunting also.
-skate and destroy!

I have the striker and the cutter. I absolutly love them. This friction folder would be an awesome addition to my collection.

Hey Jeff... as a lifetime conservationists i was raised and taught from birth not only the physical benefits of harvesting wild game but the true essence and spirit of why we are the protectors of their egsistance for we are all one.. it makes us proud to see someone like yourself (which im sure all fellow consirvationist would agree) from the outside as it were coming in and to acept his or hers place in to this community with an open heart and mind. The eagerness you show and displayed the hunger to learn is beyond welcome. Passion... a quality that i am instilling in my 4 children ranging in age from 12-4months old. For this is truly a love of the outdoors motivated by passion for my children to enjoy this life and lifestyle for generations. Keep up the hard work brother

Very cool story. It's awesome seeing folks who have a platform to reach non-hunters be advocates for conservation and hunting in general.

Great Story and hope this story spreads the word to non hunters on how much hunters actually do for conservation.

Interesting as a pro skater wouldn't typically get lumped into the pro hunting crowd and hunters probably don't associate skaters from California as possible being hunters.

One of my all time favorite skaters, it is proper to know he is also a hunter/conservationist as well.
