Great video. This will be my 1st year chasing deer in Colorado and it will be a solo hunt. I hope to have a successful hunt like you enjoyed. Keep up the good work!

@Brian H. -

Of course we did! We had to reciprocate, its the rules of the backcountry.

Wildfires in your unit make the decision making process of keeping the tag a real issue... the good news is you have 30 days before the start of your hunt to turn in your tag and keep your points. That gives you some time to feel out the real effect of the fire on you unit. No matter what though, you cant beat the high country!

Thanks, guys! Happy that you guys enjoyed the film.

@Brian H. We did share that bull with our Alabama friends, they were hunting a couple of bulls that were a bit closer. We offered to help pack meat if they got one killed, elk are a team effort once they hit the ground.

I can't watch a lot of hunting shows but this was great! Good Job

Kudos on this video. I could relate it to my backcountry hunts. I appreciated the realistic portrayal of the highs and lows of backcountry hunting. No glamour here. Realistic. Great job taking a respectable buck at the end. Most videos only show trophy animals, but most hunts don’t end that way, and are great hunts nonetheless. Thanks for depicting the dogged grind of high country hunting. Enjoy the backstraps!

Great film! I had to rewind at 4:37... Brandon found a short-cut! Here we go!!

Agreed. Great stuff. Looked like that shot set up real quick in the end. I've been thinking about turning in my high-country Colorado deer tag this year because of an ongoing wildfire in the unit, but I'll be darned if the film didn't make me rethink it. Did you guys turn those Alabama boys onto that big bull you saw?!

GREAT REAL WORLD HUNT! So many times the most important things of a hunt like this are not on film! That special tasting snack makes the day amazing. You guys captured those Little details. An I’m so happy to see you take an animal that presented the right opportunity at the right time. Everyone wants to kill a monster but at the end of the day meat on the table is just as important! I’m on a trial membership but that video just sealed the deal for me! Thanks guys

Great clip, captured the feel of a hunt very well. I especially like the camaraderie with the other hunters; sharing info and appreciating that we're all out here chasing the same experience. Well done.
