So I did a bit of research and the odds you are looking at are for a different hunt. In 2017, they had a hunt for an area (east sunset and west sunset hunt areas in unit 5A). It had 100% odds down to the o pt level. The hunt with 97 permits that you indicated has odds 100% odds in the 5 to 8 pts level. Sorry if there was some confusion.

Hey trail— 5a cow rifle this year. 97 tags, still a slam dunk to draw that without points even with that few permits? Odds says it’s 100% but figured I’d drop you a line and ask.

The deadline for elk and antelope points is the same as the draw deadline, Feb 13th. The other species draws occur later this spring.

I’m a nonresident looking to start building points in AZ. What is the deadline date for buying points only for big game species?
