APPLICATION STRATEGY 2019: Idaho Sheep, Moose, Goat -

Dave. I’m not a data scientist but I think k the right way to think about it would be IF you were to draw a tag as a NR, and that’s a very big IF, what unit would you most likely draw. Remember each applicant, resident or non, can only put in one choice. So it’s likely that the Residents, who get 90% of the tags, will have filled up the most desirable units. This, if NR are willing to put in for less desirable units I have a better chance to get a tag.
Just a quick question regarding the Frank Church tags for sheep. Can I assume if one was to draw that there are reputable outfitters available for those units? Just curious if I applied for one of those higher draw odds/challenging hunt units that an outfitter would be an option.
Montana Deer and Elk Application Strategy — Q&A Video -

Thanks for the video guys, love the website. Just a follow up question to party permits. Me and a couple other non-resident buddies are going to apply in Montana together. Does it affect anything if I as the "party leader" buy the big game combo, but they apply for deer only. Just curious is we all need to apply for the same tag or not and if that would have any impact. Thanks!
