Idaho seeks comments for moose management plan - posted 3 months ago

Do they need the public to comment and tell them that wolves kill moose?

California becomes first state to ban commercial fur trapping - posted 6 months ago

I feel like California is such an animal friendly state, the state of Idaho should trap some of their grizzlies and release them in the Hollywood hills so they'll have a sanctuary forever. What's the worst thing that can happen?

New South Carolina bill pushes for coyote bounty - posted 1 year ago

These guys in SC should listen to the Meat Eater podcast. They're only going to make the problem worse. They'd be better off trapping and castrating them.

Arizona Big Game Unit 23 - posted 1 year ago

I hunted this unit the first week of the year. Saw lots of road hunters in trucks and OHV's cruising around with their bows and crossbows. If you can find a place unmolested by roads that has access to water you can be in a pretty good spot. It took us 3 days of our 5 day hunt to figure out where the mule deer were, thanks to a generous local who didn't want us hunting around where he was. He put us in a pretty good spot to glass and we were able to finally see some deer. We saw one guy who was headed really far in. My recommendation would be once you find all the trucks and campers set up for hunting, you're probably in an area with some deer. Just be prepared for the weather, we had a couple of inches of snow on the ground when we got there and it was pretty cold. It melted off as the week went on but it wasn't what I was expecting for Arizona. I'll definitely be headed back out there to take another try at it.

Western hunting opportunities for military members - posted 1 year ago

I must've missed this article when it was posted. Thanks for putting in the work to get this all in one spot. I was able to take advantage of Idaho's non resident DAV tags last year. I was able to purchase 5 different tags for less than 250 dollars. I'll be headed back out there again for sure. Keep up the awesome work you guys are doing!
