Wolves confirmed in Colorado -
posted 2 months ago
The beginning of the decline in Colorado elk and deer populations. Watched it in Idaho....it'll be a rough 10-15 years as the wolves increase in number and put the hurt on the elk, deer, and moose. Some have "recovered" but it's never been the same since the wolves were "re"introduced. And they've only recovered since the hunting, trapping, and Idaho Fish and Game have proven effective at reducing pack size and number. It's a rough road ahead for Colorado's famed elk and deer populations. The good news is that it might be easier to draw those tough NW units here in the next 5-10 years.

Isn't the 5 point or better in the Idaho harvest data referring to whitetails and the 4 point or better for mule deer? This makes it sound like both are for mule deer

Do I understand right that they want to limit the number of non res tags in the unlimited draw units? So only the residents will be unlimited?
