ALERT: Idaho House approves decrease in nonresident tags, but increase in fees -

It's weird to see people in support of this on goHUNT. Why are you on here? Why are you an insider? Surely not to research hunting another state because that would mean you're a NR and part of the same problem you're crying about. Are you that bad at hunting your own state? Oh right, you're probably hunting federal land. Got it. That's only yours. The NR people I run in to are serious, dedicated hunters who often have one shot to get this done and to be honest, if you're seeing other hunters, you're probably not far enough into the suck.
ALERT: New bill will severely impact nonresident hunters in WY -

If I was a Montana resident I'd be raging and to the Montana residents who are behind this bill, did you read lines 4 though 6 from Sy Gilliland? Every state has issues weather it be hunting pressure or tourism or vacationers or whatever you think you have the right to enjoy by yourself. Everyone deals with it, but losing up to 80% of your revenue is a big, big deal. Short term solution. So much for sportsmanship.
Michigan biologist discusses wolf facts versus myths -
posted 1 year ago
I disagree with the statement that there are "two clearly divergent sides" as to people who want them all dead and the others who want to protect them. All of the hunters I know, many of which have hunted for generations in the U.P., believe there needs to be a regulated hunting season for wolves just like every other type of game that isn't protected by the endangered species act.
It's no secret that deer numbers are in decline in the U.P. and a reduction in the wolf population will help boost their numbers. In addition to the CWD effects and harsh winters, serious and swift thought needs to be taken to protect the longevity of the whitetail in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
