I’d second some kind of saw that you can use to clear a downed tree or limb. I don’t ever want to be stuck after having timber come down on a road I need to use to get out of the forest.

I'm interested in learning more about bison hunting in AZ, and noted near the end of the bison section here that one should "Watch for the application strategy article this fall for more information about the spring and summer hunts" but I never saw an article this Fall. Did I miss it somewhere?

Hey Brady, looking through your gear list and noticed you used the Petzl Actik. I'm still using older generation Petzl headlamps, but would like to get one of the rechargable ones, either the Actik or Reactik+. Have you used the latter too? I'm curious if it's "automatically adjusting" light levels actually work well, or end up being more a gimmick or annoyance. I'm concerned it'd get old having it switching the light levels around on me, so leaning towards the Actik. BTW thanks again for hosting me when I was in town earlier this month (and I did shoot you an email about unit 268 stuff, in case you get a change to answer).

I'd love to see an updated version of this article which accounts for new capabilities/toggles/features on the site. Great info in either case!
