The 30 minute turkey hunting technique -

Stefan - In my experience using the Heads Up Decoy, I have only had one tom come charging in, but he pulled up once he got to about five yards. It seems like the movement associated with drawing back is just enough to get them to hesitate a bit. All others came in to inspect and just strutted around between 10 and 20 yards almost like they were trying to get me (or my decoy) to close the distance.
Benton - As always, take proper precautions when using a decoy like this. I primarily only hunt private property with this decoy. I have hunted public ground with it once, but I was isolated in a pocket of trees trying to pull in birds that were out in a big open field.
