ALERT: New bill will severely impact nonresident hunters in WY -
posted 1 month ago
Obviously frustrating, if this passes. The last few years, Wyoming has made changes that screw the non-resident hunter over. I think their forgetting that non-resident hunters are a huge funding source for their agency. At some point, the only option will be that resident prices will need to jump up dramatically, then maybe more voices will be unhappy.
Is Oregon divided over gray wolves? -

Absolutely, I'm an Oregonian, and its been lib for a while, but the pace of Oregon's decline has become much faster lately. I think the only reason Oregon still tolerates us hunters and recreationalists is because they need our $$$. Once they don't need our $$$, then our hunting heritage will be over.

Why has this wilderness law never been challenged? Unless I am wrong, it is not illegal for a non-resident to be in the wilderness as a hiker. So then, now because I am carrying a weapon, I have to jump thru hoops. Gotta be the outfitters lobby wanting this.
