This hunting area is found in the north central area of the state and features some incredible scenery and bear hunting. Most of this hunting area is on the Bighorn Mountains, with just a small portion to the east. On the mountains, you will find a lot of open meadows and valleys, allowing you to glass a lot of land from one position. There are no Grizzly Bears currently located in this hunt area.
With a good average bear harvest each year and no Wilderness Area or Grizzlies, this is a great area for nonresidents to hunt.
