This unit, which is northeast of Salt Lake City and east of the population corridor in Davis County, offers OTC elk and limited entry elk opportunities.
Hunters with access to large private tracts between 6,500 and 8,500 feet in elevation have fair to good hunting for a spike, raghorn, or bull every year. Public land produces a small number of bulls, mostly on the small side. Taking any bull from public land is an accomplishment. Most bulls taken in this unit are spikes and raghorns.
