This small unit is located in Central Utah and sits on the southern side of the small town of Ferron. This hunt was created to reduce the elk herd which has learned to come into the southwestern AG fields in Ferron earlier in the fall. Up to 300-400 elk can migrate towards the south and southwest sides of the Ferron area affecting landowners.
