There is very little state land and walk-in access in this unit, without prior arrangements to access a piece of private land there is very little opportunity to hunt in this entire unit
Located in the far southwest corner of the East River deer unit and more or less in the south center of the state. The western boundary of this unit is the Missouri River. The bulk of the unit is private land with very little public access along the river as well as walk-in ground.
Being that there is relatively no public access to speak of in this unit, there is no buzz currently about any of the deer hunting that is happening here.
