Quick Tips
Bring your Shotgun as there may be options to hunt some upland game as well as waterfowl in the area
There is very little state land and walk-in access in this unit, without prior arrangements to access a piece of private land there is very little opportunity to hunt in this entire unit
This unit is located in the south central part of the East River deer unit and spans north and south across Interstate 90. The bulk of the ground here is owned privately and there is very little walk-in access and even less state owned land in the entire unit. That being said, even the small amounts that are available make more sense if you are planning a waterfowl hunt than a deer hunt, so a plan to hunt one farm or the other and having arrangements made prior to arrival is a must if this unit is your goal.
With very limited public access there are few hunters headed to this Unit without a plan around hunting some private property, this being said there is very little chatter on the internet about this particular GMU.
