This unit is located in the southwest corner of the state on the southeast corner of the Black Hills. This unit is relatively small compared to most units in the state, but is mostly public land that can be hunted. This unit consists of dense forest with very dramatic elevation changes all throughout leading down to the Cheyenne River and Angostura Reservoir.

Lots of deer both mule deer and whitetail in the unit, but hunters struggle to find older age class deer.
