There is very little state land and walk-in access in this unit, without prior arrangements to access a piece of private land there is very little opportunity to hunt in this entire unit
This small unit is located in the south central portion of the state and to the east of the Missouri River. The bulk of the ground in this unit is being used for dryland farming and what is not is primarily wetlands and marsh. Great deer numbers are found but the extreme lack of public access will have most DIY type hunters looking into other options.
With a lack of public access hunters will find filling a tag here to be a difficult task without private access.
