There is very little state land and walk-in access in this unit, without prior arrangements to access a piece of private land there is very little opportunity to hunt in this entire unit
This unit is located in the south central part of the state along the eastern banks of the Missouri River. A mixture of prairie, swamp, and dryland farming is found here. This unit is a bit of a transition, and a little more remote and rugged than many of its surrounding units on the eastern side of the river. There is virtually no public access in the unit outside of a few small walk-in areas.
Without private access hunters will find it very difficult to punch a tag in this unit.
