There is very little state land and walk-in access in this unit, without prior arrangements to access a piece of private land there is very little opportunity to hunt in this entire unit
Located on the east side of the Missouri River in the central part of the state, this unit is primarily private ground with very little public access of any kind scattered across the entire unit. Having a plan to hunt here would require some sort of access to private land in one way or the other.
With the lack of public access options, DIY hunters can find themselves struggling to find success. Private access will generally be the quickest route to punching a tag.
