Located in the south central part of the state, this unit's southern boundary is the Missouri river. This unit is predominantly made up of private land that is being used for dry land farming mixed with lots of swamp and creeks spread out across the entire unit. There is a very small amount of walk-in and public access in this unit, but none of these locations are very big and planning a DIY hunt here will be difficult.
Most of the hunting success in this unit is found on private lands and DIY hunters may struggle due to the small availability of public access options.
Quick Tips
- Bring your Shotgun as there may be options to hunt some upland game as well as waterfowl in the area
- GOHUNT Maps are recommended to help navigate public and private boundaries
- There is very little state land and walk-in access in this unit, without prior arrangements to access a piece of private land there is very little opportunity to hunt in this entire unit
