This district lies in central Montana just to the east of the state capital of Helena. Small but stable numbers of Mountain Goats will be found here but hunting conditions are good and anyone with a tag will be in for a great hunt. As with most mountain goat hunts, physical conditioning will be important prior to the hunt and physically reaching goats during the hunt will require some effort.
