This unit is found in central Alaska and is home to some of the most iconic Alaskan bush country scenery available. A great distribution of terrain can be found here and hunters will generally find not rouble in finding great glassing locations. This unit is primarily remote with a handful of settlements being found on the Koyukuk River. Most of the hunting here will be conducted on fly in trips or by utilizing some of the many available rivers. Several species are available to be hunted here with the primary target animal being Moose.
This is a unit that may fly under the radar for most hunters but great hunting can be found here with a true wilderness experience.
