For 2019, Vortex Optics took their Razor line, and put them on steroids! The new Razor Ultra-High Definition binoculars are the highest quality binoculars that Vortex has produced to date.

The new Vortex Razor Ultra-High Definition binoculars have superior optics in comparison to its Razor HD predecessor. Its new Abbe Koenig Prisms are what made the main improvement. These new prisms are longer than the previous version, and so weight is increased slightly. However, a little extra weight is a small price to pay to be able to spot more game. Along with the new prisms, the Razor UHD line utilizes advanced lens coatings to help conquer low-light situations, and multi-layered coatings on the prism keep images bright and clear. They also feature improved edge to edge clarity. According to Vortex the UHD Optical System provides, "Ultra high definition optical quality and prescription for unparalleled image resolution that cuts chromatic aberration; providing exceptional color fidelity, edge-to-edge sharpness, and light transmission."

These binoculars are made in Japan which helps ensure high quality and standards. As with all Vortex products these binoculars are covered by their no questions asked lifetime warranty.

The Razor UHD binoculars are offered in the following powers:

Thanks Cody, I would generally rate Meopta as Alpha Minus, so that makes sense. The other three in their main lines and full size binos have no peer Alpha all the way.

Seth D, I would put the UHD in the Meopta class for sure. They are solid improvements over their predecessor but not quite what the big 3 are performance wise. They are going to make a lot of customers really happy.

How does 10x42 and 12x50 compare to the sized glass from Zeiss, Leica, Meopta and Swarovski?

Hey Stan. From what we've been told by Vortex, the bino harness will only be available with the purchase of one of the new UHD binoculars. I'm sure if the popularity of the harness picks up, maybe they will offer it for sale separately.

Will the bino harness be available for purchase or can you only get one if you buy the binoculars?
