No Tell’em Creek Guide Service is owned and operated by Walker Powell, who was raised in the outdoors of Eastern Oregon. Our goal is to provide an exciting and competitive hunting experience, utilizing our public lands. Walker has been hunting for as long as he can remember, honing his skills as a guide. No Tell’em Creek Guide Service offers a wide range of hunting experiences, including: elk, deer, antelope, bear, mountain lion, and California Big Horn Sheep. Most of these are draw tag hunts, except archery elk, which is over-the-counter, and allows it to be an “ace in the hole.” This service caters to both out-of-state, as well as local hunters, who can hunt both 1 on 1 or 2 on 1. Our base camp experience includes transportation (after arrival at camp), meals, and lodging. The rugged terrain and unspoiled wildlands, are reminiscent of an earlier time. Walker plans to have mostly returning clients, who bring family and friends with them for their next adventure. The overall experience cannot be beat.
No Tell’em Creek Guide Service has been issued special use permits for the national forest in Desolation, Northside and Murderers Creek units. Which allows the use of outfitter tags. These are particularly difficult tags to draw; they can sometimes take hunters up to five preference points to be successful. Outfitter tags are virtually over-the-counter tags at that point, but are only usable by out-of-state hunters, strictly through the outfitter who has drawn the tags that year. This can cause slots to fill up quickly, so don’t wait to book your next adventure with us!
