Blue Mountain Outfitters of New Mexico specializing in guided elk hunts. I was born and raised in New Mexico. I started big-game hunting in New Mexico at the age of eleven, and have been at it ever since - hunting with both a rifle and a bow. I've been guiding since 1982 and established Blue Mountain Outfitters in 1993. I am a New Mexico registered outfitter, a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the Mule Deer Foundation, the NRA, and a North American Hunt Club approved outfitter. I have all the permits and insurance required to operate in New Mexico. My crew is experienced, hard working and friendly. We take pride in what we do and our goal is to provide every client with a successful and enjoyable hunt.

Hi Jeremy, I have 4 permits but 2 are on 1 ranch and 2 on another ranch about 30 miles away. Not a problem for us, y'all can travel out here together then split up and go to the different camps for your hunt.

Due to a couple of cancellations and a new ranch that I just leased I now have a few private land archery elk and late season rifle cow elk hunts available. Feel free to contact me for more info. Thanks. Bob

The application deadline for New Mexico hunts is rapidly approaching, it is March 21. If you are interested in applying, give me a call. I do not charge a fee for submitting your application and there is no deposit required until you draw a license.

Hi Jeremy, the hunt cost is 3800.00 per hunter + 7% sales tax, this is based on 2 hunters per guide. 1x1 is an additional 700.00. Food, lodging and transportation during the hunt is also included.
I also have an unguided drop camp that is 2200.00 Let me know if you have other questions. Thanks.

I have several openings for private land elk, antelope and aoudad sheep hunts for 2018.
Also, there is still time to apply for public land elk, mule deer, aoudad sheep and oryx hunts. I take care of the application process, I don't charge a fee for this service and I don't require a deposit until you draw a license.
I have spring turkey hunts and fall bear hunts that are over the counter licenses.
Give me a call if you have any questions or would like to book a hunt.
