Bearpaw Outfitters have been outfitting and guiding hunts since 1977 and have an A+ rating at the BBB. BPO are licensed in eight Idaho F&G Units in Southern and Northern Idaho which provide many different opportunities for trophy Mule Deer Hunting, Elk Hunting, Black and Color-Phase Bear Hunts, Mountain Lion Cougar Hunting, Shiras Moose Hunting, Whitetail Deer Hunting, and Wolf Hunting. BPO offer fully guided hunts, semi-guided hunts, and unguided hunts for a single species, an elk and mule deer combo hunt, cougar/wolf/bobcat combo, black and color phase bear, or the Ultimate Idaho Combo Hunt for elk/bear/whitetail/muledeer/wolf/cougar. Hunts include meals and of your choice of lodging at the lodge, the bed & breakfast, the house, or a wall tent camp. BPO also offer horseback drop camps for unguided hunters wanting to access and hunt in more remote country. You can stay as long as desired in our drop camps since we only put one drop camp in a drainage each season.

BPO hunters have taken many great trophy Mule Deer, Elk, Moose, Whitetail, Antelope, Bear of all colors, and record book Cougar including the former P&Y World Record Cougar. Best of all, BPO have over-the-counter (OTC) tags, outfitter quotas, or landowner tags available for many of these hunts. BPO also offer hunts in numerous limited-entry areas which offer special hunting opportunities. Idaho provides hunters many great hunting options such as two elk tags, two deer tags, two reduced price bear tags. You can even use your deer or elk tag on a bear, cougar, or wolf if you happen to see one but don’t have the specific tag.
