Established in 1989 as a family owned and operated guide service. We offer a variety of hunts including semi-guided, fully guided, and DIY drop camp hunts. Our mission is to create a once in a lifetime hunting experience by providing a family friendly atmosphere. Our unforgettable drop camp hunts are unlike any other. Our amenities at the base camp include a fully operational cabin and 3 bunkhouses. Licensed, Bonded and Insured. Formerly operated under the name Calhoun Outfitters.
Located equidistant between Montrose and Grand Junction in Western Colorado. Base Camp Outfitters operates out of 160 acres of private property in Colorado’s unit 62. The property borders thousands of acres of very remote National Forest.
