Hello, I am Taylor Albertson, owner and head guide of Abert Rim Outfitters, LLC. Based out of Lakeview, this remote town is the gateway to Oregon’s high desert region and home to some of the biggest mule deer, pronghorn antelope and California bighorn sheep in the state. Hunts are conducted on public land, in a spot and stalk manner.

All of my mule deer hunts can produce bucks well over 170”, pronghorn antelope over 80”, California bighorn sheep anywhere from 150”-170”, and black bear in the 200-400 pound range. Transportation from Lakeview to your hunting area is provided, along with a comfortable wall tent equipped with cots, camp kitchen, food and beverages. Myself and assistant guide, Kasey Clemens, will be your scout, spotter, guide, packer, and camp cook. Please show up in great physical condition and be ready to hike. Your fitness level could mean the difference between filling your tag or not. All of my clients have had 100% shot opportunity. My success is due to very intense pre-season scouting and intimate local knowledge of the particular units I guide in.

Outfitter deer tags may be available. If so, non-residents are able purchase these tags, bypass the controlled draw, and retain any preference points they have saved up.

If you happen to purchase a Statewide Auction Deer or Antelope tag, or are the lucky winner of a raffle tag or premium hunt in my permitted areas, please do not hesitate to contact me. My extensive scouting throughout southeast Oregon during the season may produce the trophy of a lifetime.

Before you apply for tags, give me a call and we can discuss your big game draw options. You went through the time and effort of building preference points, so use them wisely! Each hunt will be customized to fit your goals for the tag. My goal for the hunt is to put you in front of the biggest animal
in the unit.
