Comprised of mountains in the Shoshone National Forest in the west-central part of the state. This area contains a lot of public land and the eastern portion lies within the Fitzpatrick Wilderness Area in the Wind River Mountain Range.
Sheep tend to stay above timberline until snowfall moves them down. Horses can be beneficial for this hunt, but not critical. Good rams can be found with hard work.
