Area 40 is a very large area located in parts of Uinta, Lincoln and Sweetwater county. The beautiful open spaces of this area can provide hunters with a great hunt with a chance at a trophy bull.
This area has fair public access, with difficulty navigating such a large vast unit, full of prairie and sagebrush. Most bull moose are 34-40” wide
