This district is in the Snowcrest Mountain Range of southwest Montana just north of the Idaho border. The Ruby River is on the eastern boundary and Blacktail Deer Creek on the western boundary.
This district has a decent goat population of 60 to 70 goats. The goat quality is good with a good opportunity to find a 9” billy. The Snowcrest Mountains have good access into the district with some vehicle access to some of the high country. Billies typically range from 8-9”
