When hunting big, open country. It’s nice to have optics that can do the job that also doesn't put a giant hole in your wallet.

Today Vortex Optics just released a new binocular to their Diamondback line. These binos are the new for 2020 Diamondback HD 15x56 binoculars and will anchor the Diamondback line being the largest and biggest in this lineup. HD glass meets high-performance glassing!

I recently had these binoculars out in the mountains on a spring bear hunt where I put them through the wringer with long hours spent glassing big mountains for bears. They performed flawlessly and they honestly really impressed me due to their size, weight and clarity.

As I just mentioned, what I really enjoyed was how lightweight these binoculars are. Even though we were only day hunting, it’s still nice to not have to worry about my pack getting heavy when I really want to bust out the big optics and go on some steep and deep hikes. And if needed, you can leave behind your spotting scope and just pack 15s. A win/win situation when you are looking to save extra weight. So if you're in the market for some big optics for a few hunts a year, these check the boxes in what you want.

15s are meant to be used on a tripod as that is where they shine for long-distance glassing. And great news, a tripod adapter is included when you buy the Diamondback HD 15x56.
