If you didn’t draw a tag this year, don’t sweat it – Idaho just announced a second controlled hunt draw and you have until Aug. 15 to apply. That means you get another chance at drawing a deer, elk, antelope or bear tag. There are also 37 leftover swan controlled hunt tags, according to a press release

List of available tags

These are tags that were either unclaimed or leftover after the first controlled hunt draw. Hunts could be underway already by the time this second drawing is completed and the tags are available for sale.

Any tags not drawn during this drawing will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. MDT.

If you are interested in applying for the second controlled hunt draw, you can visit a licensed Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) vendor, call 800-554-8685 or apply online at gooutdoorsidaho.com.

There is also a second Super Hunt drawing for two elk, two deer, two antelope and one moose hunt. A second Super Hunt Combo that includes one of each species is also available. You have until Aug. 10 to apply for either the Super Hunt ($6 per entry) or the Super Hunt Combo ($20 per entry). Winners will be notified by mid-August.

Good luck!
