Over-the-counter (OTC) tag sales will begin Tuesday, July 11 at 8 a.m. MT for 2023 general season archery elk. Permits can be purchased through any Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (UDWR) office, at all license agent locations or online.
Tags for the archery hunts are sold in unlimited numbers and may be a good option to consider if you have been unable to secure an archery license in another state this year or if you are looking for a new adventure. Hunters must first possess a valid hunting license before purchasing their general elk permit; however, this can be purchased with your permit at the time of sale.
