$25 dollars and amazing odds for a chance to win a hunt of a lifetime. Sounds too good to be true? Well, it isn't. Read on to get the details.
It’s always great to hear stories about hunter’s giving back to wildlife and conservation. There is no doubt about it, conservation groups need our support, now more than ever — whether it’s donating hours of your time to work on habitat or fund raising projects, or even the direct donation of money. With our support, conservation groups will obtain their goal of further conserving wildlife.
The great part about hunting related conservation groups, if you donate your time and money, you can be confident that your money will be well spent.
To further this goal of promoting conservation, we wanted to get the word out about an opportunity to draw a truly once-in-a-lifetime tag at the 2016 Colorado Mule Deer Association (CMDA) banquet. The CMDA has TWO Colorado governor’s mule deer tags available this year, one is a raffle tag and one is a live auction tag. The best part — neither tags require the winner be present.
The odds of drawing this tag are phenomenal! Tickets are only $25 dollars and they are ONLY allowing 25 tickets per person. To purchase tickets you can call Trina at 970-640-3485 or you can send an email to: dreambig_believebig@yahoo.com for tickets.
Who wouldn't spend $25 for a chance to win a hunt of lifetime and also support conservation?
Above is a group photo of the buck that the 2015 Colorado Governor’s Tag holder, Mike Kinney took that gross scored 258” and is 35” wide. This was one of the largest deer taken in Colorado during the 2015 season.
The Colorado Mule Deer Association banquet is held on July 23, 2016 at the Colorado Mesa University Ballroom.
As you know, these conservation groups need all the support they can get. All of the proceeds from the event will stay in Colorado for local habitat work and to promote youth hunting opportunities.
There are so many ways that you can get involved with conservation groups throughout the country. In supporting groups like the CMDA, you will not only be giving back to those who work so hard for you; you will also be investing in those hunters who come after you.
