Ryan Honea

Ryan Honea’s love for hunting stretches back 30 years when his dad first took him along on a mule deer hunt in Nevada. As an avid outdoorsman and hunter, Ryan believes that the animals we hunt deserve dignity and our utmost respect but also, that hunters alike, shouldn’t be afraid to say that “they enjoy the hunt.” Ryan is a diehard backpack hunter that adheres to the DIY lifestyle and believes that staying active is the best way to find success in the backcountry; he encourages others to do the same. Ryan has spent his life in athletics but finds the most meaning in the mountains. When he is not chasing animals in the high country or riding his mountain bike, Ryan can be found with his wife and two daughters. Ryan says that his family will always come first but that his amazing wife encourages him to accomplish his goals, for which he is very grateful.
