Jake Horton

Jacob Horton grew up on the east coast in rural Pennsylvania hunting everything they had to offer from whitetails, turkeys, predators, varmints, waterfowl and everything in between. After graduation, he became obsessed with Western big game and came out west multiple times a year until he had the opportunity to move to Colorado.

Jacob loves to share his insight with other big game hunters, especially ones from the east coast because in a short conversation he understands what other hunters are used to and can help them transition their experience into western styles of hunting. Understanding that western big game animals and hunting styles can be vastly different from eastern ones is important however many hunters have most of the skills necessary to be successful their first year out west if applied correctly. Currently, Jacob resides in Colorado with his beautiful wife Gina and four daughters. He loves being close enough to be able to drive 15 minutes into prime mule deer and elk country and feels as though he is living his best life. He encourages everyone to live in a place where their passion can thrive, and their families can get outside all year round.
