Bowhunting antelope for the first time

A quest for the Idaho bighorn
The rewards of taking on a challenging hunt alone
...
I am 34 years old and I am currently a Ranch manager and Outdoor Photographer. I’ve been hunting in the mountains of Idaho since I was a little girl. I was homeschooled and raised 52 miles from town in the backcountry. We lived in a small cabin we built without electricity or running water until I was about seventeen. Hunting was a big part of my upbringing. My Dad taught me how to hunt to provide for the family and live off the land. It was the lifestyle we chose to live and I learned to love.
When I’m not hunting I’m capturing animals with my camera. Being in the woods brings me back to my roots.
I have a passion for the outdoors and I hold so much respect for nature, wildlife and the mountains. It was and will always be my home.
